You are probably wondering who is this guy and why does he have a blog? Great questions, here are the answers.
I have been a ham operator since 1978. I was 16 years old and a sophomore in high school. Radios have interested me since before I went to kindergarten. I took apart my aunt’s new clock radio to see how it worked. When I couldn’t put it back together, I put it under the broiler. Needless to say I was no longer the innocent nephew! I have spent the years since then living the life of an electronics nut. I went to the local vocational high school in electronics. Later I went to a Technical College for my ASEET. My professional career has been in the technical end of Dialysis. I have worked for manufacturers and treatment providers. Currently after relocating back to my home town I am looking for new employment.
Having lots of spare time I decided to start this blog. The future posts here will include stories from my 33 + years as a ham as well as other technical tidbits. I will also talk about my station past and present, low and high points in operating, my friends and acquaintances, and anything else that strikes my fancy. I hope you will check back often and share your thoughts with me. Please feel free to share my blog with your friends!
